LITTLE ARTISAN with Zeal Parikh

Join us at the historic, newly restored Log Cabin for a trip back in time! This one-day workshop is designed for the children to learn the basics of various folk art and implement it in artwork to make unique artifacts. Folk art is in our inheritance and teaches us the rich history of mankind. The class will give great exposure to learn history and the practical implements of folk art.

DRIED FLORAL WREATH with Libby Dunkin

Create a beautiful Spring wreath using preserved florals and greenery! This class will take place at the historic, recently restored FFA Log Cabin.

Ages: 16+

PORTRAIT QUILTS with Ben Hollingsworth

We will make a portrait of a person using fabric. Participants will submit a photograph following the guidelines provided by the instructor two weeks prior to the start of the class. The selected photo will be edited in photoshop to create a hardedge image. We will then use fabric and fusible to make each part of the photo. The pieces will be sewn down to a background, then layered with a backing fabric and batting, then quilted. Participants will need a sewing machine in good working order along with a manual for the machine. They will also need several shades of flesh-colored fabrics and other fabrics of various colors for hair and clothing. A small class fee will cover other scraps of fabric and supplies for the class provided by the instructor. *Class will skip Weds. April 6th.
Ages: 16+

Cost: $135 Residents / $202.50 Non-Residents

Fee: $3 supply fee due to instructor on the first day of class.
